Detroit police release photos of suspects in murder of auto repair shop owner

Detroit police have released photos of two men wanted in the murder of a Detroit auto repair shop owner.

Police say the men entered the Metro Cores Auto Repair Shop around 11:00 a.m Monday and demanded money. 

After taking the money, police say, the men shot the 57-year-old owner, before running from the scene in a green Jeep Cherokee. The victim later died at the hospital.

Police recovered the Jeep in the 12000 block of Whitcomb.

Suspect 1 is described as an African American man in his early 30s. He is 6'3" tall with a medium build. He was wearing a green hoodie, camo pants, tan boots and a red face mask. He is thought to be armed.

Suspect 2 is described as an African American man in his 20s. He is 6'1" tall with a slim build. He was wearing a hoodie, black and gray jogging pants, gym shoes and a black face mask. He is thought to be armed.
