"Just some strange things that didn't add up," said Louisa Matthews whose stepdaughter was shot and killed by a neighbor who claimed he was trying to save her life when it happened.
Michael Williams, 61, said he was trying to save Patricia Cosby from a dog attack when he accidentally shot and killed her.
But Matthews says doctors told them that there were no dog bites on Cosby's body and her clothes weren't torn.
A source close to the investigation tells 7 Action News that there was no evidence of a dog bite on Cosby.
On Friday, Williams was charged with Careless Discharge of a Weapon Causing Death.
His bond was set at $45,000 but he can be released if he posts 10% of that amount.
