DETROIT (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police seized nearly three ounces of heroin and fentanyl in a drug bust in Detroit.

MSP's Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team were targeting a "sophisticated" heroin/fentanyl distribution group. Police say the group has been selling the drugs to people from Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.

Police seized 78 grams of heroin/fentanyl in clear capsules, $16,210 cash and two pistols.

The main suspect was taken into custody with charges pending.
