The crisis may be on the border between the US and Mexico. But Michigan is helping to place into foster homes children who are separated from parents arrested ins the Trump Administration's Zero Tolerance Policy.

The President reversed the separation component with an executive order Wednesday afternoon.

But 81 kids as young as 3-months-old have been brought to Michigan on flights paid for by the feds and placed into foster homes and group settings through Bethany Christian Services, the only Michigan agency contracted with the feds.

Bethany Christian Services is based in Grand Rapids, but it also has a foster home and adoption agency office in Madison Heights.

No children from the organization are being placed in Metro Detroit in this crisis.
