The Oakland County Sheriff's Office has released pictures updating the recovery of Deputy David Hack on Facebook.

According to the post, Hack has returned to Michigan after undergoing rehab.

Hack was hit in January by a car driven by a 24-year-old from Oakland Township who was on her way to Oakland University.

The 50-year-old deputy was a school liaison deputy at Rochester Adams High School.

He was policing a car accident in front of the high school that occurred earlier when a second accident occurred. The sheriff's office said he was then policing the second accident when a passing car struck him while he was outside of his patrol car.
