BIRMINGHAM, Mich. (WXYZ) — A car slammed into Triple Nickel, a restaurant located in downtown Birmingham, Monday morning.
Birmingham police say no details can be released at this time.
Police are still at the scene and say an investigation is ongoing.
Barb Emlaw, who was there when the crash occurred, said she helped two women out of the car and waited with them until police arrived.
Emlaw said the driver told her she was picking up her daughter from having oral surgery and the pedal in the car got stuck, causing her to hit the building.
A door on the building was unhinged after the crash, Emlaw said.
