Flat Rock police have one person in custody as they are investigating a double homicide in that city.
The scene is in the 24000 block of Chinook Court in the Deerfield Estates subdivision
Police say they were notified about the murders at around 1:20 p.m.
The victims are a 56-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, both of whom are believed to have been shot to death.
The Michigan State Police crime lab is aiding with the investigation.
No other information has been released.
