Deja Vasquez stopped at Tim Horton’s at Plymouth and Farmington Roads Tuesday night at 8:15 to buy her daughters and herself some donuts.

She says when she opened the bag she made a disgusting find - spit on one of them.

She made a police report and Livonia Police looked at surveillance video at the store. We are told they saw the woman go from the drive through, park and walk into the store.

But they did not see employees spit on a donut in the video.

Vasquez says, “The cameras should have her spitting on the donuts, if they have cameras. But then again she’ll probably know how to, if she’s been doing it for a while, she’ll know where to spit and where not to.”

Vasquez says when she walked in a clerk acted in a strange way, “As soon as she saw me she went behind the counter to make the donuts. And I said you’re nasty you spit on my donuts and they were laying on the counter.”

Vasquez says a second employee shot her a look,

“She just looked like, oh my God, we’re caught.  Nobody said calm down we didn’t spit on your donuts.  Anything. It was like they knew why I was coming back in there.”

Vasquez contacted the corporate office and has not heard back. We also have not gotten a reply and the local store manager told us to leave.

Vasquez says she only wants answers, not money, “No, no, I’m not in it for the money.  I just feel like who else did this happen to that didn’t catch it? I mean that is disgusting.  I don’t know if they don’t think that’s disgusting, but that is disgusting!”

Livonia Police will continue the investigation tomorrow looking at the surveillance video with Vasquez and will talk with store employees.
