A mother is under arrest accused of leaving her 2-year-old inside a car while she went in to shop.
This video is circulating on Facebook.
It happened at the Southgate Sam’s Club Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded after several people saw the child and arrested her.
Maureen Marlow called 911 after she saw the child alone in the car.
"How could someone do that? Why would someone do that?" Marlow said.
Kaitlyn Wolske, a witness, said she asked the mother, who was being escorted out by a police officer, how she could forget her baby.
Wolske said her response was that she did not forget the baby, she was sleeping.
