"We need someone to come forward and tell us what actually happened. The unknown is very difficult," said Kelly Hinojosa whose brother, Mike Beaudrie, died a day after a fight outside a bar in Brownstown Township.

"If this was even an accident, please, just come forward. We need to know this," Hinojosa said.

The night of May 5, Mike Beaudrie, 50, and his brother went to Champions Sports Grill in Brownstown Township to celebrate Mike's upcoming birthday.

But as they were leaving the bar around 2:10 a.m. the next day, there was an argument with at least two other men, according to police.

The argument quickly escalated into a fight.

When police arrived, Mike Beaudrie, was unconscious in the parking lot. Mike's brother, was also injured.

"From being punched and kicked in the head, my memory just isn't very good," said Tom Beaudrie, who doesn't remember what happened.

Mike died a day later on his birthday.

Brownstown Township Police say there were a number of people in the area who could have witnessed any part of what happened and they are urging them to come forward.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest, and you can remain anonymous.

Anyone with any information can also call Brownstown Township Police detectives at 734-675-1300 (ext. 1133).

"He was the life of the family. We all come together because of him," Hinojosa said. "And we have things that are coming up and it's all scary for all of us to even try to get together because of feeling that loss."

Mike Beaudrie leaves behind five children and five grandchildren. And upon his death, Beaudrie's organs were donated so that others may live.
