RIVER ROUGE, Mich (WXYZ) — A 2-year-old boy that went missing in River Rouge Saturday evening was found safe not far from his home.
Jeremiah Jackson went missing on Pine Street in River Rouge around 6 p.m. It is believed he walked out the back door, police say.

Police and family located the toddler in a neighbor's garage around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The toddler got into the garage and was locked in shortly after the neighbor put away their lawnmower. A Hazel Park police K-9 was able to track the toddler's scent from the neighbor's front yard all the way to the garage.
