ROMEO, Mich. (WXYZ) — The owner of Romeo Fit Body Boot Camp is doing his part to keep those going to his gym motivated all while supporting small businesses.
“Understanding that we had to close our doors, we had to shift gears,” Owner Chris Baba said.
Baba has 20 years of experience teaching, and two years ago, he opened up Romeo Fit Body Boot Camp. Now, he is taking his lessons to Facebook Live.
“I’m still doing my 5 a.m. workouts and I wanted everybody to keep their habits; nothing is changing as far as when we closed our doors,” Baba said.
Baba is having people take a sweetie-selfie to show they participated in the workout.
For those that work out at least three times a week, their names are put into a raffle. Gift cards to local businesses in Romeo are up for grabs. Baba is making sure to pay it forward to other local business struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.
“We’re all in this together, I mean, I guess that is the motto," Baba said. "I like helping others and that is one of my passes is to help others and serve."
There is a special promotion going on right now. If you sign up with the gym now, you can get workouts, nutrition plans and mind-set coaching $28 for a month.
