This weekend, the community is invited to a public baby shower which will support those who are homeless.
The baby shower is themed around the royals, and will take place at Metropolitan United Methodist Church on Woodward Ave. in Detroit this Sunday, April 15 at 1 p.m.
There will be plenty of food served, and guests are encouraged to wear hats or fascinators because prizes will be given out.
There is no cost to attend, but guests can donate money or bring unwrapped gifts or diapers. They will all be used by the Cass Community Homeless Shelter.
