'Shielded Souls' motorcycle club volunteering to help children, adults with special needs

Posted

Shielded Souls is a motorcycle club of current and retired police officers, first responders, and veterans. And this Sunday, April 8, they're hoping you'll join them to help the Downriver Panthers in making their Panther-Palooza a wild success!

The Downriver Panthers organizes physical and recreational programs for children and adults with special needs, and the fundraising event will help their members enjoy a number of activities organized for them in downriver-area communities.

There will be food, games, raffles, auctions and so much more beginning at 4:00 pm at the Taylor Masonic Center, located at 23263 Goddard Road. The event ends at 7:00 pm.

Helping children and adults with special needs is something that is close to the hearts of the members of Shielded Souls.

The motorcycle club also assists the Mi Cookie Project - a non-profit organization dedicated to helping adults gain life skills, learning to work in a community-based bakery.
