Beacon Park officially kicks off its summer season series of free events this Friday, June 8.
Here's what to expect:
Sunset Sessions
Vibe solo or with friends after work with local DJs mixing your favorite jams. To kick off the free summer series, SoundCream Airstream will provide music.
Fridays, June 8 to September 8
Time: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Night Markets
Check out an array of one-of-a-kind pieces brought to you by Detroit artisans, makers and entrepreneurs. There will be live music, lawn games, food and drinks.
Saturdays, June 9 to August 25
Time: 7 p.m. to midnight
Family Fun Days
Bring the whole family to enjoy hands-on presentations, arts & crafts, inflatables, face painting and games.
Sundays, June 10 to August 26
Time: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Still looking for a Father's Day gift? On June 10, there will be a special make and take Father's Day crafts along with breakdancing demos and class with Motor City Street Dance Academy.
