A 17-year-old from Clinton Township is facing charges for an attempted break-in early Tuesday morning.
On June 12, Royal Oak officers responded to a 911 call at Hermann's Bakery, located at 317 S. Main St. The owner reported hearing the sound of banging coming from the rear door of the business.
A short time later, he heard someone tampering with the roof skylight, found it open and contacted police.
Officers located the suspect, Isiah Saba, on the roof of the business and took him into custody.
He was charged with Attempt Breaking and Entering a Building with Intent, a five-year felony. Saba was given a bond of $7,500, with no ten percent.
Police say he does not have a criminal history.
