A 16-year-old was shot in the left leg on Detroit's northwest side and is in stable condition.
The victim said he was walking in the area of 8 Mile and Shiawassee when he heard a shot and felt pain in his left leg.
He called a family member who picked him up and drove him to the hospital.
Police say there is currently no information about the suspect.
