Three people have been arrested in connection to the shooting death of Farmington resident Alex Ward and the wounding of another man at an apartment complex on Oct. 15.
After receiving calls reporting gunshots, a Farmington Hills police officer noticed a vehicle leaving the area of The Retreat at Farmington Hills at a high rate of speed.
Police say the vehicle was stopped and the occupants were arrested. Work by investigators and evidence technicians recovered evidence connecting the vehicle's occupants to the murder.
The three suspects will be arraigned on Friday.
