Three people are dead after a crash in Redford Township early Thursday morning.
According to police, it happened on West Chicago and Telegraph around 2 a.m.
A Kia was driving southbound and witnesses say the car was driving around 100 mph when it hit a pole in the median, then crossed the street, hit another pole connected to traffic signals, and then wrapped around that pole.
Three women inside the Kia were killed in the crash, but not many people were around.
Police are asking for anyone in the area who witnessed anything to call them.
Telegraph and Chicago has reopened after being closed for several hours, but traffic signals are being repaired.
Redford Police say all three women are from Muskegon; they were a mother, daughter and friend who were in Detroit Wednesday night to see a family member.
Police also say speed was a factor in the crash.
