Tiger statue stolen from metro Detroit business day before Opening Day

Posted

Just days before the Tiger’s Opening Day game, a metro Detroit businesses’ tiger was stolen from the front porch of the property.

The red, white and blue tiger has been a fixture for more than a decade at Mutual Property Management in Farmington. It was stolen overnight and the company wants it back.

Cheryl Heppard with Mutual Property Management said the three-foot statue is very heavy and she’s not even sure how someone could have easily removed it.

A police report has been filed with the Farmington Hills Police.
