A woman was arrested after police found fake IDs, an open container of alcohol and marijuana in her car with two kids in it.
Alexis Smith, 29, was involved in a road rage altercation with another driver at the Shell Gasoline Station on Big Beaver Road. She had her children with her, an 8-year-old and a 2-year-old.
Officers determined the altercation originally occurred on the road and continued in the gas station when one of the drivers pulled over.
Smith, the driver of a 2012 black Audi A7, appeared to be hiding her purse from the officer's view, police say. The officer also reportedly noticed an odor of alcohol coming from her.
She was asked to submit to a breath test and her result was .061 percent. The officers located several credit cards in her purse belonging to others and an open container of alcohol on the front seat. A cup containing a liquid smelling like alcohol was also found in the center console.
Also found in her purse was a vape pen that contained marijuana liquid and suspected marijuana edible candy.
Police determined that she had a felony warrant out of Detroit and is on the "Detroit's Most Wanted" list.
Smith was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by Alcohol, Transporting an Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Marijuana, Hinder and Obstruction of a Police Officer and Identity theft.
Officers also said Smith provided a fake ID to them originally.
