Two teens were arrested and charged after an attempted break-in at Shooter's Service, a gun store located at Six Mile Road near Middlebelt in Livonia.

On Thursday at 3:45 a.m., the owner of the store, who happened to be inside the business at the time, heard the sound of breaking glass and notified police.

The suspects were scared off by the owner and were observed leaving the area in a vehicle by officers. The vehicle failed to stop for officers and a pursuit began at Six Mile and Middlebelt. The chase ended on the entrance ramp to northbound I-275 at Ann Arbor Road.

The suspects fled from the vehicle and were arrested after a foot pursuit.

Police arrested Germaine Jackson, 17, and Gerrick Allen, 18, both residents of Detroit. Jackson and Allen were charged with Attempted Breaking and Entering of a Building, Possession of Burglary Tools and Obstructing a Police Officer.

Allen was also charged with Fleeing and Eluding and Driving on a Suspended License.
