The Livonia Police Department has released a video of a disgruntled employee pulling a gun on his former coworkers at a business earlier this month.

According to police, Livonia police responded to Texas Choice Meats on Schoolcraft after a report of an ex-employee inside with a gun.

When the arrived, they were told a man who was fired earlier in the day, Michael Shemon, had returned to the business and pointed a handgun at the victim during an argument.

Officers arrived and found Shemon in the parking lot near the business. As they tried to make contact with him, he ran inside a neighboring business and then out the front door where he was arrested.

Shemon told police that he pulled a handgun from his coat pocket, racked the slide, pointed it at the victim and said he was going to kill him.

Luckily, the gun jammed and employees were able to run away.

Shemon is charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Taser, Felony Firearm and being a Habitual Offender. Shemon was arraigned and given a $750,000 cash or surety bond.
