A black bear stuck in a tree was darted and saved over the weekend, and the incredible rescue was caught on camera.
The Roscommon Township Fire Department posted Sunday’s rescue on their Facebook page.
The department was sent to assist the Michigan Department of Natural Resources in Denton Township, which is near Grayling, to get the bear down from a very high tree.
The DNR reportedly darted the large animal and the fire department slowly lowered the tamed black bear to the ground.
There is no word on the animal’s current condition.
