The Michigan Department of Transportation announced Friday afternoon that the Westbound I-696 weekend closure in Oakland from Dequindre Road to US-24 has been canceled due to weather.
MDOT announced earlier in the week that the closure would be from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
