The assistant principal and athletic director of Lutheran High School Westland has resigned his position.
In a letter sent to parents of students on Wednesday, it was announced that Kevin Wade had resigned "as a result of conduct unbecoming of a teacher/administrator" at the school.
The letter goes on to say that as the school moves forward, that "steps are being taken to ensure all activities and responsibilities will be covered."
Westland police confirmed that a police report was filed against Wade and it involves "something that happened at the school," but will not divulge the nature of the allegations because they are just beginning an investigation.
