A woman was found dead inside of an apartment in Sterling Heights.
According to a release, Sterling Heights police officers arrived at the Lakeside Terrace Apartments, 44525 Pine Dr. at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17 on a call described as "family trouble."
Police say when they arrived they were approached by a man who was involved in the incident.
While investigating, police uncovered the body of a 41-year-old woman inside of an apartment. The man who approached officers upon arrival was taken into custody.
The Sterling Heights Investigations Bureau is investigating the incident as a homicide.
