If you've ever wanted to own an original piece of the Mackinac Bridge, now is your chance.

GovDeals is auctioning off seven separate pieces of original steel grating from the iconic bridge. Bids started Thursday morning and some are already higher than $500. The auction ends on April 19.

The pieces are about 5 1/2 feet by 38 feet and five inches deep. Each piece weights about two tons.

Because the grating was originally coating with lead-based paint, the buyer will have to sign a "hold harmless agreement" related to much of the lead paint. Much of it is gone.

The bridge celebrated its 60th anniversary in November and it's currently the fifth-longest suspension bridge in the world.
