BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Gyms in southeast Michigan remain closed, but outdoor workouts are permitted. As a result, Beverly Hills Club is taking their classes outside to their parking lot.
Steven Satovsky is the second generation owner. He says starting Tuesday, cardio classes will be provided. Each class can be tailored to whatever your fitness level is, and clean equipment will be provided.
“All the equipment is sanitized, fogged right after the workout,” said Satovsky.
It is recommended people bring their own workout mat, water bottle and towel. Members will have to sign up for classes ahead of time.
“Right now, we are going to start with two, Tuesdays and Thursdays and weather permitting and if it’s not 95 degrees outside, we will run more,” said Satovsky.
While the gym indoors is closed, they have found ways to expand to help maintain social distancing.
“We’ve actually added 7,000 square feet to the workout area, spread the equipment out, added in a turfed out area for high intensity workouts, and we put in two more palettes studios,” said Satovsky.
In order to partake in the outdoor classes you must be a member. People can sign up and inquire about becoming a member on their website.
