PLYMOUTH, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Plymouth gift shop is welcoming customers inside their shop, selling a wide range of gifts.

“Being closed these past couple of months it’s been hard, and it feels so good to be able to be open and it’s felt so good seeing people,” said the owner of Bohemian Home Lindsey Burns.

Bohemian Home just passed their 12 year anniversary during the lockdown on April 1. They sell a variety of small gifts, antiques and now they are selling bandanas and masks.

The front door is being left open so people do not have to touch the door handle. Cleaning has increased, including cleaning their sunglasses.

“We are allowing you to try on sunglasses but we are sterilizing them, we have a bucket, you have to put them in the bucket and we sterilize them,” said Burns.

Hand sanitizer is also located at the front register for customers to use.

Burns is hoping people stop by and continue to shop local.

“I have a family to support, I have a community to support and we cannot survive without our support from our community. I mean, this is everything to us,” said Burns.
