Tigers pitcher Matthew Boyd and his wife Ashley have created a foundation called Kingdom Home, providing houses for refugees in Uganda.

They donated $100,000, announcing on Tuesday the creation of their nonprofit.

Nick Castellanos, Shane Greene, and James McCan have pledged to sponsor children.
