Tigers pitcher Michael Fulmer will miss at least two starts due to numbness in his pitching hand.
Brad Ausmus told reporters that Fulmer will see Dr. James Andrews and will not start again until after that.
Fulmer has been plagued with this problem for most of the season. It was the reason he gave for accidently hitting Gary Sanchez: the action that sparked a brawl between the Tigers and Yankees on Aug. 25.
With the recent departure of Justin Verlander, Fulmer is the Tigers No. 1 pitcher right now.
