ROYAL OAK, Mich. — Big names in college hoops joined Oakland head coach Greg Kampe's for 'Coaches Beat Cancer.'

Tom Izzo, Jim Boeheim, Lon Kruger, Nate Oats, Frank Martin, Bill Raftery, Dan Majerle, Bryce Drew, and Homer Drew were part of this year's crew at Beaumont Health. The coaches toured the hospital with pediatric patients and played golf with winning bidders who helped donate to the American Cancer Society.

The event has raised over $500,000 since its inception. This year's event is the third Kampe has hosted with the American Cancer Society.
