(WXYZ) — Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin is reportedly considering having season-ending knee surgery, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.
According to the report, Griffin is expected to visit a specialist this week because of his left knee, and the surgery is being considered. The specialist is in Los Angeles.
Griffin has only played in 18 games for the Pistons this season. It's the same knee that he had surgery last season. Last year, he had arthroscopic surgery, but details weren't released.
