LAKELAND, Fla. — Casey Mize threw against Major League hitters for the first time at Tigers spring training on Tuesday.
It was the latest step in the professional development for the 2018 No. 1 overall pick.
Teammates have been impressed with Mize's first camp, and most notably, the way he handles himself.
