ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Detroit Lions opened Training Camp this week, and on Thursday, Head Coach Matt Patricia rolled into his press conference on a knee scooter following surgery during the offseason.
According to Patricia, doctors went in and cleaned some stuff up in there.

Patricia also talked about growing as a head coach in his second season with Detroit.
"Certainly there's areas where things went a lot smoother, it's easier, even from a setup standpoint, the hotels, the field, the facilities here," Patricia said.
"There are certainly things that come up that did come up last year that are still new, and that happens no matter what it is," he added.
With the recovery, Patricia is also using a cart to get around the field while his knee heals.
