ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Detroit Lions and Matt Patricia have hired Brayden Coombs as the team's new special teams coordinator.
Coombs has previously spent the last 10 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, including the last seven seasons as the assistant special teams coach.
On top of that, he also served in various roles with the team, including offensive assistant, quality control, deensive quality control and offensive quality control.
The Cincinnati native joined the team as a coaching intern in 2009, and was a former wide receiver for the Miami of Ohio University.
