DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Pistons are reportedly buying out guard Reggie Jackson's contract, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

According to Wojnarowski, Jackson plans to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers after he clears waivers.

Jackson, 29, has played for Detroit since being traded to the team in 2015. During his six seasons with the Pistons, he started 293 of 299 games. In all 82 games last season, he scored 15.4 points per game to bring his career average up to 12.9 points per game entering the season.

Jackson has battled an injury this season and only played in 14 games, starting 10 of them.
