(WXYZ) — The Detroit Pistons have traded guard Reggie Bullock to the Los Angeles Lakers for guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk and a second-round draft pick, according to ESPN.com.
UPDATE: The Pistons have confirmed the trade in a news release.
The report came down just after 1 a.m. Wednesday, and according to several outlets, the deal will be complete later on in the day.
Bullock, 27, has spent the past four seasons with the Pistons and has started in 43 games this season for Detroit. He is averaging 12 points and 2.5 assists during an average of 30.7 minutes per game.
Mykhailiuk, 21, is from Ukraine and in his first season with the Lakers. He hasn't started a game but is averaging 3.2 points in 38 games played this season as a small forward.
Bullock took to Twitter just after 1 a.m. to thank the Pistons and Detroiters for his time here.
"My love for the city was nothing that I could explain over a tweet, THE LOVE EXTENDS BEYOND!," Bullock wrote. "@DetroitPistons thanks for a Lifetime MEMORY! Made me who I am today."
