The Detroit Tigers have designated catcher Jake Rogers for assignment.
The move coincides with the return of Javy Baez, who is coming back from injury.
Rogers has been with the Tigers' organization since 2019 and appeared in 102 games back in 2024. With Dillon Dingler's success, Rogers hasn't played as much.
This season, he has appeared in 36 games for Detroit.
