ESPN says more than 14M watch Michigan and Alabama face off in Citrus Bowl

(WXYZ) — The Michigan Wolverines may not have won the Citrus Bowl, but their showdown with the Alabama Crimson Tide was a big winner for ABC.

ESPN announced today that the broadcast was watched by more than 14 million people, making it ABC's most-watched bowl game since the 2010 National Championship game.

It was also the Citrus Bowl's biggest audience since 2008 and among ranked among the top four since at least 1991.
