Detroit Pistons fans enjoyed some pregame festivities in the Chevrolet Plaza at Little Caesars Arena ahead of the team's home opener Wednesday night.
Fans travelled from near and far to take part in what some of them called an "historic night".
The Almdeia family came all the way from Anaheim, California to watch the first Pistons game at the new downtown arena, while Detroit native Charmaine Huntley came early to watch the players arrive on the blue carpet.
All the fans we spoke with agreed the team has a lot fo prove this season, and they're excited to watch them get it done.
