(WXYZ) — The Super Bowl is Sunday and people across the country will be throwing parties to watch the big game. The last thing you want to happen is a technical issue, and Xfinity has several tips you can use for your party.
The first, according to the company, is to make sure you have WiFi covering your entire home. To do that, check the age of your internet gateway, place it in a room with the most wireless activity and do not hide it under the stairs. The last thing you need – especially if streaming to your TV – is an internet problem.
Also, make sure you know the number of devices connected to your internet before everyone comes over. By 2022, Xfinity said the average home will have 50 devices connected to WiFi. Then, see if your provider has some extra features that can enhance your viewing experience that can go along with it.
Finally, Xfinity said the Super Bowl is broadcast in 4K this year, so if you have a 4K-ready TV or a 4K coverter box, you're good to go.
