WXYZ — At one point of his life, Athony Ianni was told he would never quite fit in to society.

Upon hearing about these doubts later in his development stages, Ianni was determined to make sure those who said he couldn't live a full life with autism, were wrong.

That's why hosting a basketball camp in conjunction with 'Kids on the Go' is so meaningful to him.

"I've had a lot of these kids for four or five years now and to see how far they have come from dribbling, shooting, passing, it's been nothing short of incredible to watch. It just shows me and these parents of theirs how much potential they have," former Michigan State basketball player Anthony Ianni said.
