DETROIT — James van Riemsdyk has four goals in the first six games of December, finding his scoring touch in different ways. He is playing with the Red Wings 18 years after suiting up in Ann Arbor for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.
He and Patrick Kane were teammates at the NTDP, and were the top two picks in the 2007 Draft. They're finally teammates in the NHL.
