DETROIT — Metro Detroit native Joe Hooks has played Detroit Golf Club "a thousand-plus" times in his life.
After winning the John Shippen Invitational to grab a qualifying spot in this week's Rocket Classic, he's making his PGA Tour debut at his home course.
"I'm here and I'm home, and I know this course probably better than the entire field. Let's get it," he said.
