ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Detroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson has returned to practice, Head Coach Matt Patricia announced on Wednesday.
Johnson hurt his knee in game 6 this season and went on injured reserve. He's eligibility to return to the field on week 16.
This season, he had 308 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
He also was injured last season and appeared in 10 games, rushing for 641 yards an 10 touchdowns.
I asked Matt Patricia how vital it’ll be to see Kerryon Johnson on the field - for planning for next year and beyond in the backfield.
