WXYZ — The Lions rookie class has been learning from afar, working out on their own, and haven't met all of the Lions front office face-to-face.

Which is one of the reasons that signing their rookie deals is taking longer than usual.

On Tuesday, the Lions inked their third contract with a member of the 2020 draft class, as linebacker Julian Okwara agreed to the terms, according to an article by Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Okwara will be used as an edge rusher and outside linebacker in Matt Patricia's defense.

At Notre Dame, Okwara was a menace in the oppositions backfields, which the Lions hope he continues in the NFL.
