The Detroit Lions announced new food prices for Ford Field during the 2018-19 season with the "Silver Savings" program offering discounted prices before and during the games.

For one hour after gates open, known as DTE Energy Power Hour, fans can get special concession prices that include $2 pops, $2 hot dogs, $3 packaged beers, $3 well drinks an $5 specialty cocktails. The locations with the discounted prices will be at Social at Gate D, the Corner Bar & Grille, the Bud Light Party Zone and BLITZ.

On top of that, the team will have the Silver Savings menu, which features two new meal combos: a hot dog, pop and chips for $10 or a hot dog, beer and chips for $12. Both will be available at all Streats of Detroit locations, Snack Zone on the concourse and the Gridiron North Club and South Club Cafe.

Plus, multiple locations will serve $5 beers throughout the entire game.

"These fan-friendly, value-added food and beverage options are another example of us taking feedback from fans and using it to improve our gameday experience," Team President Rod Wood said in a release. "Over the past year we have spent considerable time working with Levy to get something in place that makes sense for our fans without hurting the quality or speed of service."
