(WXYZ) — Detroit Lions Quarterback Matthew Stafford will miss his third straight start on Sunday when the team takes on the Washington Redskins.
Head Coach Matt Patricia made the announcement to reporters on Friday.
Before these three games, Stafford had played in 136 straight games.
It's expected Jeff Driskel will start in his place. In two games started this season, he is 42/72 for 478 yards with three touchdowns.
